Personal Development

Tips, Ideas, & Techniques

This section offers a broad array of information related to personal development in the articles listed at the bottom.

Personal growth is about becoming what you desire to be while moving closer to your authentic self. In other words, it’s about becoming that ultimate image of yourself that you hold secretly in your heart. And it’s about taking advantage of the discoveries of accomplished men and women who have created extraordinary lives for themselves.

The building blocks are awareness, knowledge, courage, and perseverance. Here’s a description of each one.

  • Awareness - The ability to evaluate yourself objectively in regard to your past, present, and future. This means taking an honest look at your life and accepting 100 percent responsibility for everything in it.
  • Knowledge - The motivation to acquire the information needed to make improvements in the most efficient manner possible. This means seeking out the best techniques for achieving your goals in the shortest amount of time.
  • Courage - The willingness to go toward and through the things you fear regardless of how you feel. This means being ready to face whatever you fear even if you are terrified.
  • Perseverance - The fortitude to consistently move toward your dreams in spite of limitations, obstacles, and setbacks. This means continually recommitting yourself to reaching your goals regardless of what problems arise along the way.

There are no shortcuts or alternate routes to achieving your dreams. Each of these building blocks plays a key role in successful living.

Personal development is not about becoming a super human being. It’s about achieving your potential so that you can live your life as you imagine it. This doesn’t mean that you must struggle and sacrifice in order to get what you want. Actually, it is the exact opposite.

When you get into the zone of being your true self, the work of personal growth becomes a labor of love.

This topic is a central theme of this site. My objective is to provide information that will help you reach your goals.
